英語でTrivia(トリビア) ～その17～「料理」クイズ
昨日に引き続き、ご褒美トリビア、今日は「スイーツ(スウィーツ)編」です(*^▽^*)
さて、料理本に出ていたスイーツ(スウィーツ)のタイトル＜Sweet Bean "Gongs"＞とは何のことでしょう？
以下に作り方を簡単に記しますね
＜Ingredients(材料)＞ eggs, sugar, baking soda(重曹), water, flour, oil, red-bean paste
① Put eggs and sugar in a bowl, and mix them well until whitish(白っぽい) and a little thick(ドロッとした).
② Mix baking soda(重曹) with 1 tsp(tea spoon 小さじ) water, and add it to the egg mixture. And then, add water and mix them well.
③ Put flour and water little by little into batter(こねもの) mixing.
④ Heat an oiled frying pan, and pour(注ぐ) batter on it while making a round shape, and cook.
⑤ When you see the surface(表面) is half dry and bubbles, check if the back side is golden brown, and turn over(ひっくり返す) to cook until dry.
⑥ Prepare two cooled pancakes. Spread red-bean paste on one pancake out of them, cover it with another pancake, and press them lightly.
⑦ What's the name of this sweet?

正解は・・・「どら焼き」でした！
どら焼きの「どら」は、楽器の銅鑼(どら)から来ているんです。
ドラえもんが好きなスイーツだからではありません(^^;)
パンケーキ自体の形が銅鑼に似ているからか、パンケーキを焼く道具が銅鑼の形に似ていたからか、諸説あるようですが・・・
因みに、"gong" は「銅鑼」のこと、「小さじ」は"tea spoon"(略語は tsp )だけど、「大さじ」は"table spoon"(略語は tbsp )です(*^-^*)
土日に少し休養を入れたら、また来週月曜から一緒に頑張ろう！
